2025 University International Sustainability and Social Innovation Talent Development Program

Associate Professor Chiu Chao-Hsien of our institute has been awarded funding from the Youth Development Administration of the Ministry of Education under the “2025 University International Sustainability and Social Innovation Talent Development Program.” Recently, he led ten graduate students from the Graduate Institute of Strategic and International Affairs on a two-week overseas field study course titled “European Sustainability Development Program,” visiting Belgium, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom.

During the program, the group visited six international organizations related to environmental sustainability and met with three overseas representative offices and academic institutions. The exchanges were highly productive and yielded substantial outcomes.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Youth Development Administration for its generous support, as well as to the Office of Research and Development of National Chung Cheng University and our institute for their full assistance in making this program possible.

On June 11, our institute held a results-sharing session. This program successfully established a foundation for future collaboration between our institute and various European governments, NGOs, and academic institutions. We also hope that, through similar international programs supported by the Ministry of Education, students at National Chung Cheng University will continue to broaden their global perspectives, apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, and strengthen their competitiveness for future career development.
