• 師資需求名額：專任助理教授（含）以上1名。
• 資格：

• 具備教育部認可國內、外博士學位（申請時須已取得正式博士學位證書）或助理教授職級以上教師證書。
• 本案專任教師由戰略暨國際事務研究所及通識教育中心共同合聘，需具備「國際關係」或通識課程「能源、環境與生態」向度之專長領域，兩者兼具尤佳。
• 具備全英語授課之能力。

Faculty Recruitment Announcement

Institute of Strategic and International Affairs, National Chung Cheng University

I. Position

One full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.
II. Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
1. Doctoral Degree or Faculty Qualification
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree from a university in Taiwan or abroad recognized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. Applicants must have obtained their doctoral degree and received the official doctoral diploma by the application deadline. Alternatively, applicants who hold a faculty certificate at the rank of Assistant Professor or above may apply.
2. Area of Specialization
The successful candidate will be jointly appointed by the Institute of Strategic and International Affairs and the Center for General Education. Applicants must have expertise in either International Relations or Energy, Environment, and Ecology, the latter being one of the thematic dimensions of the General Education curriculum. Applicants with expertise in both fields are preferred.
3. Ability to Teach in English
Applicants must be capable of teaching courses entirely in English.

III. Expected Date of Appointment: August 1, 2027.

4. Publication Record: Please provide a list of relevant publications from the past five years, along with offprints of major publications.

5. Proposed Courses and Syllabi: Please provide descriptions and syllabi for two courses that you are qualified to teach. At least one of the two courses must be closely related to the academic and curricular focus of the Institute of Strategic and International Affairs. Please refer to the Institute’s website at https://isia.ccu.edu.tw/?Lang=en for information on its courses.

6. Research Project Experience: Applicants with experience as principal investigators or project leaders of research projects funded by government agencies or research institutions in Taiwan or abroad are preferred. Examples include projects funded by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), University Social Responsibility (USR) projects, projects under the Higher Education Sprout Project, and industry–academia collaboration projects. Applicants are requested to provide relevant supporting documentation.

7. Journal Publications: Applicants who have published articles in journals indexed in SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, EI, A&HCI, or THCI are preferred, particularly those who were the first or corresponding author of such publications. Applicants are requested to provide relevant supporting documentation.
